100% DETAIL - DORMA MOVEO - A revolutionary new movable wall on stand E35

The DORMA MOVEO® system – which will be demonstrated on stand E35 at 100% Detail – is a flexible and easy to operate movable wall which is up to 50% lighter than conventional systems. It offers excellent sound insulation and represents a revolutionary development in the design and manufacture of movable walls.

DORMA MOVEO® is the perfect answer to the ever increasing demand for efficient and adaptable space utilisation in offices, hotels, conference centres, educational establishments, leisure amenities and exhibition halls, The system is amazingly light compared with conventional movable walls – the two outer shells of the element being made from a glass fibre reinforced composite board. Problem-free securing and partition sealing is assured every time as well with the ComforTronic® control system.


Effortless to move and with excellent sound insulation

Thanks to their exceptionally light weight, the MOVEO® panels can be moved quickly, accurately and effortlessly to their designated location. Once the panels are in position the standard ComforTronic® control system automatically extends the sealing strips – eliminating the need for any manual winding. The seal is seated with exactly the right contact pressure every time, which means that an acoustic value of up to 55dB is achievable and the seal ensures partition stability as well.


Product variations and a host of finishes

The DORMA MOVEO® system is available in three product variations to meet specific user requirements. The Smart Line is ideal for average room heights and low sound insulation requirements (37 dB), while the Business Line offers a solution for moderate to high sound insulation values (47 and 55 dB) and has a more sophisticated finish. High acoustic values (55 dB) combined with high-quality, aesthetically pleasing surface finishes are offered by the Design Line.

The various surface finishes available are classified into three different ‘Collections’. The Design Collection comprises high-quality, genuine wood veneers, striking metal decors and RAL-painted surfaces. The Classic Collection contains particularly hard-wearing, scratch and impact-resistant surfaces in a variety of colours, as wood reproduction, or as textured decor finishes. Further alternatives are available in the Functional Collection, ranging from rugged steel sheet and write-on or magnetic cover panels, to surfaces that perform as overhead and daylight projector screens.

When it comes to parking the MOVEO® panels, there are six stacking alternatives and each takes up a relatively small area – which benefits the general aesthetics of the room – and their light weight means they have little effect on the structural integrity of the building.
