Comprehensive new DORMA brochure for the healthcare sector

DORMA have produced a new brochure which showcases the comprehensive range of internal and external access solutions available for healthcare projects. We have an unrivalled range of products, combined with years of experience working with all types of healthcare establishments.

The brochure contains detailed information on different door types and controls, how they can help meet the requirements of the DDA, RR(FS)O fire regulations and the Health Technical Memoranda 59 Building Regulations . Products include automatic sliding door systems – ideal for heavy traffic areas – and automatic swing door systems for both internal and external door applications. Also detailed is our brand new ED100 low energy door operator, which is perfect for when doors are used manually most of the time but can be opened under power when required; along with automatic folding and revolving door options.

The majority of doors in a healthcare establishment will be fire doors and the new brochure looks at the criteria involved in making the right selection for door hardware, and details the options available – which include a whole range of cam action, free swing and electro-magnetic hold open devices.

Security and safe egress at final exit doors come together with the range of DORMA panic hardware. These feature self-locking latches and in addition to conventional operation, swipe cards and other electronic devices can be used.
