DORMA to demonstrate latest automatic door and movable wall systems at 100% Detail Exhibition
 The principle behind 100% Detail is, of course, that the products on show should be innovative, inspirational and provide architects and specifiers with solutions for better and more sustainable building design. This year, DORMA will be demonstrating its latest automatic door and movable wall systems on Stand S40, at Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre, from 18th – 21st September.
DORMA CS 80 MAGNEO
Based on the award winning elegant Contur design styling, the DORMA CS 80 MAGNEO features an unobtrusive, fully automatic and totally silent magnetic drive. This operates single-leaf sliding doors – glass, wood or metal – up to 80kg in weight and with opening widths of 875mm, 1000mmm and 1125mm. (The unit is shown here in combination with the ‘Intermezzo’ from DORMA’s sophisticated MAME glass range).
The CS 80 MAGNEO is suitable for automatic sliding doors in public and commercial buildings as well as private homes, and it can be in-wall or on-wall mounted. There is a choice of operating modes as well – it can be pushed open and left to close automatically; or it can be activated by remote control, radar motion detector, or pushbutton.
DORMA MOVEO
The revolutionary MOVEO® is extremely light, weighing around half that of conventional movable walls. As a result the panels can be moved by anyone, quickly, accurately and effortlessly to their required location. In addition, there is far less structural load on the building as well.
The DORMA MOVEO® features a ComforTronic® control system provided as standard. This eliminates any need for the time and effort involved in using a manual crank mechanism. With the ComforTronic® control, panel seals are automatically extended when two elements come into contact, so there is no possibility of operator error. It guarantees that the wall is always securely sealed and ensures outstanding sound attenuation levels of up to 55 dB. An extremely comprehensive range of surface finishes is also available.
DORMA ED 250
The DORMA ED 250 is the future of swing door automation. Its elegance and performance are unparalleled by any other operators on the market. Featuring the new Contur design, the ED 250 operator can drive doors up to 250kg. With a width of 700mm and a depth of 120mm the overall height amounts to only 70mm. Its efficient design and energy-saving operation makes it the ideal choice for all modern swing door applications. This is the first time this product has been exhibited in the UK and can seen in action at stand S40.
A wide range of DORMA Glass products – including the exciting MAME range – will also be on show across at 100% Design, Stand B90, Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre, from 18th – 21st September
