DORMA posts record sales

Ennepetal. The DORMA Group has significantly increased both sales and earnings. In the course of its 2010/11 financial year (June 30), the company's consolidated net sales rose by 10.3% to a record high of €944.4 million. After adjustment for acquisitions and foreign exchange, sales increased by 6.5% compared to the prior year. Earnings before taxes (EBT) totalled €56.6 million, 5.4% higher than last time. During the 2010/11 financial year, the average number of employees rose to 6,546 ( 1.2%). As of June 30, 2011, the workforce had risen by 1.5% to 6,589 compared to the end of the previous financial year.
